In July 2022 PROTEO INTERNATIONAL S.r.l. hosted the Professor Dr. Saeid Hazrati from the Department of Agronomy and Medicinal Plants, Faculty of Agriculture, Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University of Tabriz, Iran.

He holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Tarbiat Modares of Teheran, Iran in 2011, and a Ph.D. in Medicinal Plants at the same University in 2015.

Currently, Dr. Saeid Hazrati is working as Associate Professor in Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, Tabriz, teaching at the Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Philosophy Doctor levels since September 2016.

The Professor is estimated by colleagues, students, and the scientific community for his expertise on medicinal and aromatic plants, studying the impact of environmental stress (mainly due to climate change and water deficiency) on these plants. Another area of expertise for the Professor Hazrati is the investigation of strategies for enhancing the synthesis of secondary metabolites and the herb production in soilless systems.

Professor Dr. Saeid Hazrati has been visiting the headquarters of PROTEO to strengthen the cooperation oriented in creating opportunities for research, experiments, and thesis for Bachelor’s and Master students, and for Ph.D. students.
