In September 2022 PROTEO INTERNATIONAL S.r.l. went to Ecuador to visit the National client and travel across the Country to visit his clients.

From Quito, the technical staff of PROTEO went into the South of Ecuador. The first meetings with retailers were held in Machachi, an area characterized by the cultivation of potato and carrot, and then in Nintanga, where the main crop is broccoli. The technical and commercial tour in the South of the Country continued in Salcedo, where the farmers mainly grow tomato, sweet pepper, and cucumber, and in the area of Ambato, visiting retailers in Riobamba and Banos Agua Santa.

Also the North of the capital was explored, visiting various retailers in Bolivar, San Gabriel, and Julio Andrade where the main crops in these areas are tomato, carrot, and onion.

A full day was dedicated to the training of the team of the National client in their office in Quito.

The trip to Ecuador was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the relationship with the new National importer and better understand the dynamics, criticisms, and opportunities of the market.
