In August 2021, as a result of the cooperation between the Research and Development Department of PROTEO INTERNATIONAL S.r.l. and the University of Tabriz – Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Azerbaijan Shahid Madani University, Tabriz, Iran, has been published a scientific manuscript on the “Russian Journal of Plant Physiology”.

The manuscript, titled “Physiological and Phytochemical Responses of Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis L.) to Pluramin Application and Inoculation with Pseudomonas fluorescens PF-135 under Water-Deficit Stress” is one of the first publications available in the literature that present the effect of a commercial fertilizer and beneficial microorganism on physiological properties and secondary metabolites synthesis in medicinal and aromatic plant under water deficiency.

Due to the increasing soundness of the climate change topic and its impact on agriculture, the experimental aim of the research groups involved was the evaluation of the reaction and adaptability of a crop under forced stress thanks to the integrations of external inputs.

The results obtained thanks to the use of our powder formulation PLURAMIN based on amino acids, alone or in combination with beneficial microorganisms are satisfactory in terms of improved tolerance to water scarcity, water retention, antioxidant activity and general resistance to stress.
